Hemavan is located 450 meters above the ocean in the south-west of Lapland and nearby the Vindelfjällens national park. Some people associate Hemavan with alpine sports but there is hardly a better starting point for other activities, both summer- and winter activities.

Hemavan Outdoor is located in the centre of Hemavan, the nearest ski lift system is only 200 meters away. It is only 250 meters to the closest store and the airport, which has a direct connection to Stockholm, Arlanda.
